Clean Boost
EP3Preamp it’s a discrete FET preamp working as a Clean Boost. EP3Preamp is based on the preamp section of the Echoplex EP3 tape echo, that all the legendary guitarists where inspired and using it all the time, making a huge impact in their tone print and attributes. EP3Preamp is true bypass and it has not internal switches so you don’t have to mess around with screwdrivers and dip switches while it’s equipped with a smooth EQ that will let you carefree, simply create music.
EP3 Preamp it’s a real team player, it can crank up your amp or any other pedal giving rich overtones and enhancing your tone with deep bass or smooth treble leaving its organic taste and feeling everywhere in its path.

Controls
- 1. Bass - Clockwise increase low frequencies, Counterclockwise decrease low frequencies, turn full Counterclockwise for flat responses. Full Clockwise you gain a very big fat body and bottom frequency response!
- 2. Boost - Adjusts output level. Clockwise is loud, counterclockwise is quiet. For ultra flat response turn full Counterclockwise all the knobs.
- 3. Treble - Counterclockwise you get less Treble response and Clockwise you get more Treble response. Don't be afraid to turn Clockwise Treble because their is no harsh frequencies, you can experience the smoothest Treble of your life!!!

Switching
This device is true bypass. Audio will pass without power.
Power
This device takes a standard 9 volt DC power supply with a 2.1mm negative center barrel. We always recommend pedal-specific, transformer-isolated wall-wart power supplies or multiple isolated-output supplies. Pedals will make extra noise if there is ripple or unclean power. Switching-type power supplies, daisy chains and non-pedal specific power supplies do not filter dirty power as well and let through unwanted noise. DO NOT RUN AT HIGHER VOLTAGES!
