Heavy Fuzz

OctaFuzz is all-analog, amp-like heavy fuzz. OctaFuzz is made for all the lovers of Fuzz sound and especially for those who hate the harsh tones or all the noise and the extreme highs that comes from the most Fuzz pedals when high gain occur. Furthermore OctaFuzz has the ability to reach hi gain with almost infinite sustain without losing control, having an extra footswitch that adds an excellent, swelling octave up to anything your heart desires! Capable of creating everything from subtle octave-up overtones through crushing octave squalls that simulate exploding stacks of amps.
For all of you that searching for the ultimate fuzz tone, OctaFuzz has a big low end, a biting top end without being too harsh. More than enough output to completely send a tube amp over the top to deliver a well-rounded and defined fuzz tone with the ability of an octave up that completes the dream of every fuzz head.

Controls

1. Volume - Clockwise increase the volume, headroom, you even crack the
speaker of your amp, so be careful tons of volume!!!
2. Tone - It's a mid-range tone control, clockwise you can have more thick upper-mid overtones and counterclockwise you turn from upper to down fat mids and fat body tones like never heard before, it can get really dark like doom!!!
3. Gain - Counterclockwise you get the minimum of gain and sustain but as you turn clockwise you gain more fuzz and sustain so generously that fully clockwise
you experience almost infinite sustain, or you can feel really strong the feedback
from your cabinet.
4. Modern/Vintage switch - In Vintage position is responsible for a natural well rounded Fuzz tone. In Modern position gives uneven square wave Fuzz - uneven for more natural, better sounding square fuzz tone- more compressed and distorted Fuzz. Also when it comes to an octave-up effect some say that an octave-up is better with post distortion, so if you are in the same page here is the switch!
5. Bright/Dark switch - Completely changes Fuzz tones from strong, thick fat mids to completely scooped out mids with lots of bass and treble response for a brighter outcome.

Switching

This device is true bypass. Audio will pass without power.

Power

This device takes a standard 9 volt DC power supply with a 2.1mm negative center barrel. We always recommend pedal-specific, transformer-isolated wall-wart power supplies or multiple isolated-output supplies. Pedals will make extra noise if there is ripple or unclean power. Switching-type power supplies, daisy chains and non-pedal specific power supplies do not filter dirty power as well and let through unwanted noise. DO NOT RUN AT HIGHER VOLTAGES!
