Wild Wasp is a full analog amps-like Distortion, equipped with special design FET topology to work perfectly as triode tubes do, offering generously its feeling and characteristics. Wild Wasp is overdriving naturally, as tubes do, so no diodes are needed, giving rich harmonic distortion with the tone essence of 80’s and 90’s.
You can select by footswitch two gain stages, one lower gain channel with green led indicator focusing on lower middle range for more bass and more mellow response and a second hi gain channel with red led indicator focusing on higher frequencies, with slightly scooped bass making it a perfect lead channel. A well-balanced baxandall EQ follows, separating Bass & Treble carefully leaving middle frequencies and overall highs to Presence that can do the rest. Volume makes the big difference maximizing the all thing, pushing the headroom even more to thicker, fuller tones. As you turn volume clockwise it’s like you are pushing the power tubes of a valve amplifier for greater absolute distortion. If all these it’s not enough, another footswitch boosts both stages for absolute maximum gain.
Wild Wasp works like a big hot head Amp making it perfect to drive all your pedals through it and gain more overtones and detail characteristics. And if all these are not enough an all-analog Noise Gate makes all the package noise free, giving full control at high gain situations!!!
